• The new national competition is the Windmill Energy Challenge. Scoring software will be available online.
• The ECMC Foundation has some great college planning resources on their website. Especially helpful is their "Realizing the College Dream Curriculum Guide."
• The Intersegmental Coordinating Committee has developed a college planning program for middle school students and their families called "College: Making It Happen."

  • Toshiba America Foundation Grants Program
  • American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Classroom Grants ($200 grants for classroom/project supplies- fits perfectly with Windmill Energy Challenge or glider projects!)
  • Target Field Trip Grants Program (up to $800 for field trips - deadline is November 3, 2009)
